Now there’s a public Services Partner Directory, a certification program, and Anthropic-trained partners who have gone through actual vetting.

That’s worth understanding. Not because every SMB needs a consultant, but because the quality gap between AI vendors just got bigger. The ones inside this network have gone through training the ones outside didn’t.

The Claude Certified Architect credential. Specifically the “Foundations” level, which launched March 12 alongside the network. This is Anthropic Academy training — structured curriculum, not self-paced YouTube videos. A consultant with this credential has gone through a defined program. One without it hasn’t.

Sales playbooks and co-selling support. This is less relevant to you directly, but matters indirectly: partners with Anthropic sales support are more likely to be active in the market, better resourced, and accountable to Anthropic’s standards. They have skin in the game.

Anthropic also scaled its partner team fivefold alongside the launch. That’s not a press release number. It’s a staffing commitment that signals this is a real program, not a partner badge you buy for $299 and forget.


The Cross-Platform Angle Nobody Is Talking About

Claude runs on AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Azure. Most of your competitors are running their AI implementations on one of these clouds already.

What this means practically: You don’t need a separate Anthropic account to use Claude in production. For positions 2 and 3, the AI implementation framework gives you the baseline for evaluating whether a partner’s proposal makes sense. Don’t hire a consultant before you understand what good implementation looks like.
